Exploit Orchard – First Entry
Once upon a time, I worked in network engineering — IP addressing, Novell networks, IBM 3274s, Active Directory rollouts, the works. It’s been a few decades since then, and the landscape has shifted (a lot), but lately I’ve found myself drawn back to the signals and systems.
So, I’ve rebooted.
Or at least, I’ve picked up the trail again.
I’m starting from the ground up with TryHackMe, refreshing my understanding of core concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, ports, routing, protocols, and security layers. I know some of it, but I’m treating it like a fresh field recon: no assumptions, no shortcuts.
This section — Exploit Orchard — will be where I collect notes from the journey. Expect walkthroughs, challenge reflections, maybe even some missteps (ripe fruit often falls with a thud). If you’re also circling back into cybersecurity or coming in from a different path, maybe you’ll find something useful here.
Let’s see what grows.
